The Champion of Champions Tour (CCT) has issued bans to multiple players across three teams competing in CCT Europe Season 3, a Tier 2 online Counter-Strike tournament.
The esports tournament organiser issued the punishments following the detection of suspicious activity during a match between THE and 1Win on September 29th, 2025.
The investigation also found that THE 1Drezz’s camera feed during a match between THE and 1Win ‘did not match the player competing in the server.’ For online CCT matches, the tournament organiser has added an integrity camera as a requirement for all players competing.
It was found that KHAN’s Raiymbek ‘dune‘ Dusenov actively played on 1Drezz’s account, as verified by the Akros anti-cheat. As such, the player has received a two-year ban for account sharing.
The statement also reveals that the KHAN duo of Dastan ‘dosikk‘ Mauessov and Daniil ‘tEO‘ Pro, Y5‘s Nurmukhammed ‘singulier‘ Mugal and Zhanibek ‘R3LiFwOW‘ Kuatov, and THE‘s Idris ‘1Drezz‘ Beksulanov and Mark ‘d0RREN‘ Karachevtsev have been found guilty, receiving a two-year ban from CCT events.
These findings have been independently made after the Akos anti-cheat system identified cheating software.
Below is the list of all the players who have received bans, along with their durations:
- Dastan ‘dosikk‘ Mauessov – 2 years
- Daniil ‘tEO‘ Pro – 2 years
- Nurmukhammed ‘singulier‘ Mugal – 2 years
- Zhanibek ‘R3LiFwOW‘ Kuatov – 2 years
- Idris ‘1Drezz‘ Beksulanov – 2 years
- Mark ‘d0RREN‘ Karachevtsev -2 years
- Raiymbek ‘dune‘ Dusenov – 2 years
Alongside the players receiving a two-year ban, the remaining players representing Khan, THE, and Y5 will receive a six-month ban from all CCT events.
CS2 Cheating In 2025
The bans issued by CCT are the latest bans to impact the Counter-Strike 2 esports scene in 2025. April saw the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) issue a lifetime ban to Swedish player Joel ‘joel’ Holmlund after breaching its code of conduct.
Elsewhere, ESIC issued a range of bans to ATOX Esports players and staff after being found guilty of match fixing in May.
