The decision follows Karmine Corp suspending Apples on September 29th, 2025, after allegations regarding his behaviour towards female fans surfaced, in addition to allegedly leaking details of scrims to fans.

After details emerged, further allegations surrounding attempts to sabotage the careers of players also surfaced. Four days after issuing the suspension, Karmine Corp has opted to cut ties with the Assistant Coach.

“Following an internal investigation, the club has decided to dismiss the individual concerned from their duties with immediate effect for non-compliance with the ethical charter,” said Karmine Corp on social media.

Following his dismissal, Apples released a statement apologising for his actions “causing harm to the club and that the relationship with the fans cannot be repaired.”

He continued: “I acknowledge my errors, I apologise. I have learned a great deal, and I regret that this journey is ending this way.”

What Next For Karmine Corp?

For Karmine Corp, the 2025 League of Legends season has come to an end after finishing the LEC Summer Split in fourth place, missing out on a place at the season-ending World Championship.

As a result, the organisation will likely seek a new Assistant Coach ahead of the 2026 LEC season, where Karmine Corp will aim to solidify its place as one of Europe’s top teams.

While it won’t be competing at Worlds, the organisation is among the invited teams competing at the Red Bull League of Its Own off-season event taking place at Munich’s SAP Garden in November.

The team joins the likes of Los Ratones, G2 Esports, and T1, which will compete in showmatches across the single-day event.
