  • Delta Force has 12 operators as of Season 6.
  • All of the Delta Force operators belong to a class, including Recon, Engineer, Assault, and Support.
  • Some operators have skill sets focused on healing their team, while others have access to unique weaponry.
  • Some Delta Force operators perform better in certain modes, like Operations or War.
  • Esports Insider has taken a close look at every operator’s abilities to determine the strongest and weakest characters available in Delta Force.

Delta Force is filled with explosive battles and exciting weaponry, but the operators rarely get enough credit for building this popular FPS into what it is today. Whether you like playing as a support or recon operator, a character with a special skill set is waiting for you in Delta Force.

Our Delta Force operator tier list details every character’s strength by ranking them according to their abilities.

Esports Insider followed a few simple steps to determine the best operators in Delta Force. We took into consideration each character’s trait, gadget, and class to rank every operator from best to worst.

How our Delta Force tier list was compiled

Our tier guide will help you better understand the reasons that each character is deserving of their rank. Here’s a quick look at what every tier means in our Delta Force tier list.

  • S-Tier: The operators found in S-Tier are powerful in exceptional ways due to their gadgets.
  • A-Tier: Characters who reside in A-Tier are usually very solid choices, but their abilities often lack uniqueness.
  • B-Tier: B-Tier is home to a variety of fun operators, though they usually have a few downsides.
  • C-Tier: You may find unique uses for the operators in C-Tier, but their abilities are outmatched by most other characters in Delta Force.
  • D-Tier: This rank is reserved only for characters with pointless abilities or notable disadvantages.

The ranking below offers a deep dive into why every operator has been placed in their rank, plus a quick look at their strongest abilities.

S-Tier

Tempest is a fantastic assault operator for solo or coordinated play, plus she’s received a buff since her initial release. Her Emergency Evasion Device offers a way to quickly retreat while taking less damage, while the Combat Roll is great for swift dodges. Tempest even has the Drill Charge to stun enemies, so we’ve ranked her in S-Tier for versatility.

Alternatively, Shepherd’s Sonic Trap will damage and slow enemy players when they enter its range. Equipped with a GE2 Frag Grenade and the Sonic Defense ability, Shepherd is one of the best engineers in Delta Force for all combat situations.

S-Tier characters are top tier, so they should be your first pick if you’re seeking the best operators in Delta Force.

A-Tier

The operators in Delta Force are all well-designed and unique, so many characters belong in A-Tier. Silver Wing and Wing Cam both help Raptor track enemy players, plus his EMP Grenade is the perfect way to disrupt the opposition’s electronics. Luna is another good option for recon since her Detection Arrow can track enemies, and the Volt Arrow deals electric damage.

If you’re looking for a mobile operator, then D-wolf can activate the Tactical Slide and Motorized Exoskeleton, with the Triple Blaster offering a way to create explosions in a flash. Uluru is an engineer with access to the Quickset Cover for defense, and his Composite Incendiary creates a fiery explosion to burn down the covers.

For stealth, Nox is a sneaky assault operator with the power to lessen his sound range, plus he can decrease the HP regeneration of enemies. As the final Delta Force operator in A-Tier, Stinger is a strong pick for the support class since he can create smokescreens and use the Hive-Tech Pistol to heal teammates.

Every A-Tier character is useful, but Stinger is the best if you’re playing with a coordinated team.

B-Tier

Toxik is by no means a useless operator, but her power is fairly basic and limited compared to alternative Delta Force operators. The Dragonfly Swarm System allows Toxik to buff her allies during combat, while the Blinding Gas lets you blind enemies.

Meanwhile, Vyron is an assault character who uses Dynamic Propulsion to cross gaps and the sticky Magnetic Bomb to create planned explosions. For fans of grappling hooks, Sineva is an engineer who can pull enemies or injured allies to the player, plus the EOD Set will reduce the damage you receive during combat.

B-Tier characters are fun, though coordination is key to making full use of their abilities.

C-Tier

Hackclaw is a stealthy operator belonging to the recon class. Silent Step allows Hackclaw to move more quietly. Additionally, Hackclaw can use the Signal Decoder to scan for enemy players, though this isn’t a particularly unique power in Delta Force. Hackclaw is fun for fans of stealth combat, but she often struggles to compete with operators with more unique abilities.

D-Tier

As of Season 6, none of the Delta Force operators deserve to be placed in D-Tier. We will keep track of any updates that buff or nerf operators and switch up the rankings accordingly.

Conclusion

There are numerous viable picks for an operator in Delta Force. Whether you prefer the healing touch of Stinger or the stealth of Hackclaw, each player can find a character that works well for their skill level.

You’ve found out about the best operators in Delta Force, so now it may be time to take a peek at the strongest weapons that this FPS has to offer.
