Esports and gaming festival organiser DreamHack has announced a partnership with Japanese video game company Nintendo.
As a result of the deal, the company will feature at November’s DreamHack Stockholm event, taking place from November 28th to 30th, 2025.
Nintendo will host a dedicated booth as part of DreamHack Stockholm’s expo area, where attendees can play the company’s latest releases. This is the company’s second time at one of Sweden’s biggest gaming and esports festivals, having hosted a booth in 2024.
With Nintendo as a partner of DreamHack Stockholm 2025, the festival has yet to reveal if any Nintendo titles will host any esports events. The upcoming DreamHack Atlanta 2025 event will host a one-versus-one Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament with a $3,000 (~£2,244) prize pool.
“Having such an iconic brand as Nintendo at DreamHack underlines the strength of our festival and the unique experiences we create for our community,” said Andreas Jernberg, Managing Director of Nordics at ESL FACEIT Group.
“We can’t wait to welcome thousands of fans to Stockholm for a weekend full of gaming, entertainment, and unforgettable moments.”
Nintendo is no stranger to the world of esports. In August, the company entered a partnership with the Interstate Scholastic Esports Alliance, aiming to make esports tournaments more accessible across the United States.
