Street Fighter 6 will be showcased at the Tokyo Game Show 2025, and there will be plenty of information about the upcoming fighter C. Viper.
Capcom recently announced its online program for the Tokyo Game Show 2025, which is on September 24th at 7 AM PST / 3 PM BST. This 40-minute presentation will include a confirmed gameplay trailer for C. Viper.
On Capcom’s official online program, it states: “See the latest information on C. Viper, the second additional character for Year 3 of Street Fighter 6.”
This isn’t a massive surprise since C. Viper will also be playable via a demo at the Tokyo Game Show itself. Still, it has the FGC quite intrigued, as many have been hyped about her return since she last fought in Street Fighter 4.
A secret agent with tons of gadgets at her disposal, C. Viper has always been known for her technical gameplay but the FGC is speculating that she may get a revamp for Street Fighter 6 to fit into the new playstyle and be more approachable. If she remains too technical, she could be easily overshadowed by fighters who are much easier to master.
C. Viper has been an overall mystery despite being revealed a few days ago. She was barely present in her own Fighting Pass trailer.
C. Viper is arriving during the Year 3 Season Pass but the exact date hasn’t been revealed just yet. The FGC has started speculating that it may be in October 2025. It’s possible a date will be shared at the Tokyo Game Show 2025.
