Call of Duty League (CDL) franchise Atlanta FaZe has officially announced its relocation to Las Vegas, Nevada, for the 2026 season.

In addition to the relocation, the franchise has unveiled its starting roster, which will compete under the FaZe Vegas banner on Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

Announced on September 19th, 2025, the relocation confirms rumours that have circulated following the discovery of various trademarks relating to the franchise on the United States Patent and Trademark Office database.

FaZe Vegas becomes the second CDL franchise to relocate after the Las Vegas slot opened, following Team Falcons’ franchise heading to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in early September.

Atlanta FaZe first joined the Call of Duty League in 2019 when Call of Duty’s esports circuit switched to a city-based franchise model for the 2020 season. The franchise is one of the most successful of the CDL era, winning the CDL Championship in 2021 and 2022.

Following the departures of McArthur ‘Cellium‘ Jovel and Tyler ‘aBeZy‘ during the off-season, FaZe Vegas has rebuilt its roster around Chris ‘Simp‘ Lehr and Zack ‘Drazah‘ Jordan. Joining the pair for the Black Ops 7 season are former Vancouver Surge players Jordan ‘Abuzah‘ François and Jovan ‘04‘ Rodriguez.

Further franchise relocations are expected before the upcoming season gets underway. French organisation Gentle Mates has teased that it is moving away from Los Angeles in favour of a rebrand to a new city.

Las Vegas And The CDL

The city of Las Vegas is no stranger to Call of Duty esports. From 2022 until 2024, it was the home of the Las Vegas Legion franchise owned and operated by c0ntact Gaming. In 2024, it was renamed to the Las Vegas Falcons through a partnership with Team Falcons.

In addition to representing several franchises, Vegas has also hosted Call of Duty’s biggest events. In 2023, the Thomas & Mack Center hosted the CDL Championship Weekend event won by the New York Subliners.
