Pompeii: The Legacy is targeting a September 23 early access launch. Developed by Croatian solo studio Siscia Games, the title aims to revive the spirit of the ‘golden era’ of city-building sims, drawing clear inspiration from the timeless classic Caesar 3.
Pompeii: The Legacy puts players in charge of every aspect of a Roman city — from construction and economy to balancing the demands of a complex society. The game is also in development for Xbox Series X/S, though no release date has been announced, with a 2026 launch looking likely.
The release trailer below showcases how players can organize and build their Roman cities while balancing the complexities of the economy and society. See it below:

-
Dynamic Challenges: The looming threat of Mount Vesuvius adds tension, with ashfall, magma, and earthquakes creating strategic dilemmas.
