FaZe Clan has denied affiliation with former members after posting a full list of organisation personnel, affirming that those unnamed are ‘not associated’ with the organisation ‘in any way.’
The list of current members was shared following the controversy involving Thomas ‘Temperrr‘ Oliveira, former CEO Ricky ‘Banks‘ Bengston, and former member Nordan ‘Rain‘ Shat.
The public dispute stems from Rain accusing Temperrr of sexual misconduct, which he denies. As it stands, all three members involved are dissociated from FaZe Clan.
In response to the announcement, Temperrr said: “Yesterday I watched someone I once called a brother go online, call me a pedophile, and laugh about it. Today, I was cut off the roster.
“And instead of a call or text, I was just cut off the roster today. No conversation. Nothing from the people I stood beside for over a decade.”
The Drama Explained
The controversy stems from comments made by Rain during a livestream on September 14th, claiming the reason why he left FaZe Clan back in April 2024 was because of an alleged ‘pedophile’ situation within the organisation.
“Part of the reason I left FaZe was because of it,” Rain added in a separate post. “I couldn’t be side by side who did something like that. I wanted to speak but just felt so f**king bad, and eventually I just couldn’t take it anymore.”
Banks would later clarify that he was not the focus of the allegations, and went on to state that the ‘clip’ was referring to Temperrr, which Rain confirmed in a later stream.
“I know this because of a phone call we had between myself, Tommy [Temperrr], Apex, and Rain.” Banks added. “To be clear, Tommy denied any wrongdoing and no conclusion was came to on that call.”
Temperr went on to post two response videos. In his initial video, he strongly denied the accusations of sexual misconduct made against him, calling them ‘insane’ and saying that he was ‘disgusted.’ In this same video, he also accused Rain of trying to leverage the allegations to ‘blackmail’ him.
He then posted a second video online three hours later, acknowledging a sexual encounter ‘years ago’ with a 17-year-old in New York. While 17 is the age of consent in the US state, Temperrr claims that he was unaware of her age at that moment and was ‘extremely uncomfortable’ once he found out.
As of writing, neither FaZe Clan nor its leadership has released an official statement addressing the allegations.
