ONIC PH unveil MLBB M6 Joy Champion and FMVP Beatrix skin

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and ONIC Philippines have officially revealed the long-awaited M6 Champion Skin for Joy, alongside the Finals MVP (FMVP) skin for Beatrix titled Sky Force Maverick. 

Both commemorate ONIC’s dominant run at the M6 World Championship in Malaysia last December and will be available in-game from September 20th.

The M6 Champion Skin for Joy carries ONIC’s iconic yellow, through its golden armour, along with hints of red and black. According to MOONTON, the game’s developer, ONIC PH was closely involved in designing the skin. 

“I’m very grateful to MOONTON Games for granting our design requests, especially when we visited the headquarters in China to work closely on the skin with them.” said Cyric “Kingkong” Perez, who MOONTON said is the inspiration for the skin. 

“We thank our fans, too, for their support since day one. Don’t forget to buy the skin, so you feel the ONIC spirit every time you play.”

Players can access the skin through the Joy ‘ONIC PH’ Pass. The Starter Pass will include the Champion Skin, exclusive avatar border, battle emote, and coins. Meanwhile, the Honor Pass offers additional effects and Crystals of Aurora.

ONIC’s Finals MVP Duane Grant ‘Kelra’ Pillas selected Beatrix earlier this year to receive the FMVP skin. During the M6 finals, his standout Beatrix performance played a big role in helping the team lift the trophy.

The Sky Force Maverick skin reflects ONIC’s team spirit with yellow-and-black accents and futuristic weaponry. Kelra added personal touches including a hedgehog charm and his child’s name, ‘Slake’ on the outfit. 

“I’m very proud that MOONTON Games included everything I requested for the skin. This design won’t just fade away — it feels permanently stamped into MLBB,” said Kelra. 

“I hope Sonics and the entire MLBB community will support us, because this isn’t just a skin—it carries our whole story and identity as ONIC. When you see this skin, you’ll see my identity in it.”

The skin will be discounted by 30% during its first week of release.

Currently, ONIC PH are placed second in the group stage of the MPL PH S16, which kicked off on August 22nd. With four weeks of matches still left in the regular season, there are plenty of opportunities for a switch-around in the standings.

The top six teams will advance to the playoffs, and the best two from the group stage will receive a bye to the second round.

ONIC PH, which lost 3-4 to Team Liquid PH in a gruelling grand finals of the previous season, will be looking to lift the trophy once again. The tournament is being broadcast live on the MPL Philippines YouTube channel.

The top two teams of the MPL PH S16 will make it to the M7 World Championship. The Filipinos have usually dominated international MLBB esports tournaments; however, the M7 presents a unique challenge as it will be hosted in Indonesia.
