The MongolZ has unveiled its expansion into PUBG Mobile esports with the signing of the former Team GGs roster.
The Mongolian esports organisation is set to compete in the PUBG Mobile Super League – Central and South Asia Fall 2025 league, which begins on September 18th.
The MongolZ is best known for its Counter-Strike 2 roster, which has cemented itself as one of the top teams in the world. The expansion continues the organisation’s growth across other esports sectors. Outside of C2S The MonsolZ has local teams in MLBB and Dota 2.
Announced on September 11th, 2025, the team of Dessert, Jiro, Fearless, Hopeless, and Noah will aim to cement its place as one of Asia’s top rosters. Prior to joining The MongolZ, the trio of Dessert, Fearless, and Jiro competed at the PUBG Mobile National Championship Mongolia 2025 event, taking second place and securing one of two spots in the Central and South Asia Fall league.
The MongolZ is one of two Mongolian teams competing in the Central and South Asia Fall league, which features 20 teams from across the region competing for a share of a $200,000 (~£147,699) prize pool.
In addition to the prize pool, the top three teams will earn a place at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship taking place across November and December. In August, the tournament shared details on the event’s format, which will feature four stages.
PUBG Mobile On The Rise
Throughout 2025, PUBG Mobile and its esports circuit have continued to grow, with tournaments recording strong viewing figures and attracting new brands to collaborate on various initiatives.
April saw the title sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Saudi Esports Federation to help develop the esports ecosystem within the Kingdom.
In September, the battle royale title unveiled a partnership with British automotive marque Lotus in a deal that will see two of its vehicles integrated into various game modes.
