Borderlands 4 Shift codes are as inevitable as the deluge of colorful guns we’ll collect when the looter shooter sequel launches. If you’re keen on nabbing as many rewards as possible, you’ll want to know how to redeem them.
Unless the fourth entry in the series does things differently than its predecessors, BL4 Shift codes should generally reward different amounts of Golden Keys that can be used to open a special chest which rewards random loot in the game’s main hub area.

Gearbox has also thrown in the odd cosmetic item in the past, so that’s an extra reason to keep track of them.
To redeem active Borderlands 4 Shift codes, you’ll first need to sign up for a free Shift account or log into your existing one. You can then navigate to the Shift website’s rewards section and input the codes.
It’s also worth noting that past games in the series have had a dedicated section in their menus where codes could be redeemed. Since Borderlands 4 isn’t available at the time of writing, we cannot confirm whether or not that will be the case in the highly-anticipated sequel.
In the past, only redeeming the codes wasn’t enough, since we had to claim the rewards from the Mail section of the in-game Social menu.
One very important thing to keep in mind is that Borderlands 4 Shift codes are usually active for a limited amount of time, so redeeming them as soon as possible is definitely recommended.
We don’t have any to highlight just yet, but you should find them listed in the body of this article once they become available.
We’ll do our best to keep track of active BL4 Shift codes, but you may also want to keep an eye on the game’s official X, formerly Twitter, account as well as Randy Pitchford’s.
