Arcane is a highly popular animated Netflix series set within the world of the MOBA game League of Legends. Arcane attracted a lot of new players to League of Legends, so it’s no surprise that the champions in the game who appeared in the show received skins based on their Arcane designs.
We’re going to be looking at all the Arcane-themed skins currently available in League of Legends, as well as how to get them. We’ll also list our top 10 picks for the best Arcane skins in League of Legends.
What are Arcane skins in LoL, and how can you get them?

The Arcane League of Legends skins are a specific collection of skins based on the Arcane animated show, which had two seasons. The skins include the outfits and specific designs of the Arcane versions of each champion involved in the show, such as Jinx, Vi and Ekko.
A few of the Arcane-themed LoL skins can be purchased directly in the in-game shop for Riot Points (RP). However, most of the skins are rarer, with the vast majority being locked in the Legacy Vault. There is also one Mythic and one Exalted Arcane skin in the game (Exalted is a relatively new skin tier that is currently the rarest and most difficult to obtain).
Legacy Vault skins can be purchased with RP, but they are only available when the vault opens. Mythic skins can be bought with Mythic Essence, but this in-game currency is more difficult to collect as it cannot be purchased as normal with RP. It can be earned via specific Event Passes (which must be bought) or obtained in The Sanctum, a gacha-like system.
While on the subject of The Sanctum, Exalted skins can only be obtained by rolling for them with Ancient Sparks. At the time of writing, there is only one Exalted Arcane skin – Exalted Arcane Fractured Jinx –, but it is tricky and costly for players to get their hands on. Exalted skins can be pulled in The Sanctum via Ancient Sparks, but these sparks cost 400 RP each. The Jinx skin is guaranteed at a maximum of 80 pulls, but this would cost a whopping 32,000 RP, which is around $250 to $300 in real money. Of course, those who are particularly lucky could get the skin much sooner than that, but it’s still a significant amount of money to pay for one skin.
One of the Arcane skins – Arcane Shimmer Lab Singed – is no longer available, as it was unlockable via a limited-time event. This doesn’t necessarily mean it will never come back, but for now, it is the rarest Arcane skin.
All Arcane skins in League of Legends
Two of the champions included in this list– Mel and Ambessa– came to League of Legends following their appearance in Arcane. Mel has a skin directly part of the Arcane skin line, but Ambessa’s aren’t in that collection. However, we are going to be including the skins that Mel and Abessa have that aren’t in the Arcane skin collection, as they are characters who originated from Arcane and are therefore connected significantly to the theme.

As mentioned above, most of the Arcane skins are locked in the Legacy Vault and can only be purchased with RP when the vault opens. A handful of the skins can be bought at any time from the in-game shop.
Caitlyn’s Prestige skin is Mythic, and can only be purchased from the Mythic shop for Mythic Essence. The items in the Mythic shop appear on a rotating basis, so you’ll have to wait until the skin appears before you can buy it. Arcane Fractured Jinx is an Exalted skin that can only be rolled for in The Sanctum gacha. Players will obtain the skin within 80 rolls, but that would amount to 32,000 RP, making it incredibly costly, even if there is a chance that you can earn it sooner.
How many LoL Arcane skins are there?
There are 16 Arcane skins available in League of Legends. This does not count Mel’s default skin or Ambessa’s default and Champion of the Wolf skin, as they are not a part of the Arcane skin line, even though Mel and Ambessa are champions that came directly from the show.
