The wallets of VALORANT esports fans, and their resistance to the draw of shiny cosmetic items, are about to be tested. Riot Games has revealed the Champions 2025 Collection bundle, featuring the golden Vandal and Butterfly Knife, along with some lovely accessories, in what is dubbed the most ambitious and feature-rich bundle yet.
It’s a chance for fans not just to look incredible in-game, but also to support the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) ecosystem, with 50% of net proceeds from the bundle being shared with VCT teams.
The announcement comes just after qualification for VALORANT Champions Paris 2025 concluded.

According to an announcement from Riot Games, esports bundles in 2024 raised over $40 million for partnered teams. Judging by the content and features of the Champions 2025 Collection, that record might get broken.
Champions 2025 Collection Content and Features
Riot Games went all out with the Champions 2025 Collection. While fans did expect the Vandal to feature, following in the footsteps of the Phantom last year, the amount of features on the primary weapon skin makes it the best yet.
The full list of features and official descriptions for the Champions 2025 Vandal skin is lengthy:
- Champion’s Aura: A glowing red “fire” outline that glows when you’re top frag in the game. The glow changes to gold whenever you get a kill.
- Hot Streak: After each kill, the entire weapon transforms into a full-gold form for a period of time. Getting another frag keeps the gold form going.
- Custom Finisher: A new cinematic moment that plays the 2025 anthem, while displaying a round counter that shows how many more rounds you need to close out the game with a W. Silhouettes of the Agents on your team appear in the background of your Finisher.
- “Paint the World” Finisher: After the finisher triggers, you and your allies with the Champions 2025 Vandal equipped can leave golden VCT marks across the map wherever you shoot.
Alongside the main features, you also get a kill counter, a timer that counts down to the date and time of the Champions Paris Grand Finals during the inspect animation, custom audio and graphics, including a muzzle flash that looks like the VCT logo, anthem music, and custom kill banner visuals/sound.

The Champions 2025 Butterfly Knife skin boasts both the Hot Streak and Champion’s Aura features, alongside a unique animation set. This includes a brand-new inspect animation and custom sound/visual effects on all other animations.
Here are the confirmed Champions 2025 Collection accessories and official descriptions:
- Flex: Designed based on the Champions Trophy. Plays the 2025 Anthem and shows the rounds needed to win when inspected.
- Gun Buddy: Bold gold-and-black VCT-inspired design.
- Player Card: A collectible artwork tying into the Champions 2025 theme.
- Spray: Add flair to every match with a celebratory gold spray.
That just leaves us with two important details: the release date and the cost of the bundle.
