Kai Cenat has released the trailer for his Fortnite Mafiathon 3, revealing that the streaming event will begin on September 1st.
The short trailer also features Creed and Black Panther actor Michael B. Jordan, who dares Cenat to cut his hair should the streamer reach 1 million subscribers during Mafiathon 3.
Mafiathon 3 was first announced at the Las Vegas Sphere on August 19th, together with the reveal of Kai Cenat’s Fortnite skin line, Icon Series.
Kai Cenat has been making waves in the content creation scene for several years with his comedic content across Twitch, YouTube, and other social media. As of 2025, he is among the most-followed Twitch streamers, climbing towards 19 million followers.
The streamer has also become recognised for his signature content projects, such as Streamer University, a programme where participants learn about the ins and outs of working in content creation.
The first iteration of his Mafiathon took place in 2023. Comparable to other subathons in the content creation space, Kai Cenat live-stream for an extended duration to boost his subscription count. However, the streamer’s take on a fairly common concept stood out for his extensive content plan, high production quality and famous guest appearances.
Last year’s Mafiathon 2 peaked at 623,363 viewers and saw Cenat break the Twitch subscriber record at the time with over 720,000 subscribers.
How Kai Cenat Introduced Mafiathon 3
The trailer for his third and final Mafiathon has already reached more than 570,000 YouTube views since its release yesterday. To give his Mafiathon trilogy a worthy conclusion, Cenat received help from Michael B. Jordan.
In the trailer, the actor discusses with Cenat how the streamer could possibly surpass the success of his subathon last year, where he was live 24/7 for 30 days. Cenat responds that he plans to do something unexpected if he can achieve 1 million subscribers during the event, and Jordan suggests that he cut his hair.
In typical Cenat fashion, the trailer for Mafiathon 3 is more than an announcement video. Instead, it depicts the filming of a mafia action scene. Kai is accompanied by various fellow streaming personalities, including 2xRaKai and rayasianboy. The short film also features countless references and easter eggs, such as a Streamer University 2026 painting.
The final shootout between Cenat and friends and Jordan as the villain sees the actor shoot off a lock of Kai’s hair before concluding with an explosion of dynamite.
Fans can tune into Mafianthon 3: The Final Chapter on Cenat’s Twitch channel starting September 1st at 11 PM BST.
