Apex Legends has unveiled the Creator Tournament Series, a competition programme that allows creators and influencers to host their own tournaments with custom rules.

Developers, Respawn Entertainment, will be teaming up with creators to make ‘one of a kind’ events for the Apex Legends community to enjoy during Season 26 and beyond.

“A new kind of Apex tournament is coming, and this time, you’re in charge,” Respawn Entertainment said. “We’re teaming up with Creators to build the wildest, most unforgettable events.”

Respawn Entertainment explained that the series aimed to create more than just the ‘same old tournament format’ often seen in esports events such as ALGS. With The Creator Tournament Series, a variety of competitive modes can be realised, such as melee only, no cooldowns, tabletop RPG experiences, and one bin challenges, to name a few.

The series will be open to influencers who are part of the Global Creator Programme, with participants expected to host monthly tournaments as part of the initiative. The developers promise to fully support creators who sign up, covering prize pools, Twitch drops, and code giveaways, among other assets that are required for community competitions.

How to Sign Up for the Creator Hub Programme

As of writing, Respawn Entertainment is currently accepting submissions from creators, taking tournament pitches through its Creator Hub page. Creators can sign up for Creator Hub by filling out the ‘Get Verified’ survey, sharing more details about their channel and the platforms they frequently post content on.

While the programme is open globally, Respawn states that the Creator Hub is mainly aimed towards English-speaking creators based in North America, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France.

Respawn has outlined the perks that come with being part of the Creator Hub Programme. This includes participation in playtests, giving feedback on the game, receiving updates via the Respawn creator Discord, collaborating on projects, and obtaining a Creator Code for Apex Legends.
