SEGA and Two Point Studios announced at Gamescom that the second DLC for Two Point Museum, titled Digiverse, will launch on August 28, alongside Patch 5.0, which includes quality-of-life improvements and optimisations for players. Full patch notes will be provided later.
The first DLC, Fantasy Finds, added a dash of Dungeons and Dragons and launched in mid-July. Now, Digiverse is on the way, sparked by a coffee spill on the Meat Wizard arcade machine that accidentally disrupted the space-time continuum—opening up a whole new dimension for you to explore.
Here’s an overview sent to us by Sega:
You’re just in time friends, someone spilt a coffee all over the Meat Wizard arcade machine and it might have caused a minor space-time continuum… something strange is happening to the fibrous fabric of digital space-time in Two Point County.
This unusual activity has opened up rifts that lead to other worlds in a place/not-place they’re calling The Digiverse, a new expedition map.
These rifts look a tad volatile, but it doesn’t look like anything to fear… yet. We should definitely monitor it to see if anything changes. They look big enough to fly a chopper into, so, in the name of exploration, how about we open this thing up and take a look inside?
Features:
- Explore a nostalgic trip into the County’s video game history
- Adventure in Meat Wizard 1 & 2, and perhaps discover the franchise’s darkest secret…
- Discover seven new Exhibits across four new Points of Interest
- Build two new Interactive Displays: Meat Wizard Arcade Machines
- Find and unlock Power Ups, a new boon-giving project for the workshop
Digiverse will unlock for players after completing City Act 2 (Memento Mile). Look out for the DLC on August 28. It will likely be priced at £6.99 when it launches, although Two Point Studios hasn’t confirmed this yet.
