Karmine Corp’s LEC pro Vladimiros ‘Vladi’ Kourtidis has played an absurd amount of League of Legends games this year.
The Greek midlaner is currently the highest-ranked LEC pro with 2022 LP, but that isn’t surprising given his gametime.
Vladi has been spamming LoL soloqueue, playing 1,729 online games this year with nearly 700 games played in the last two months.
A player with a similar amount is Navi jungler Thayger, who has been eliminated from the LEC after just three series.
Karmine Corp are reported to have played about 600 scrims this year.
With that and his 96 official matches, Vladi has potentially played around 2425 games of LoL this year.
With there having been 233 days in 2025, that averages at over 10 games a day.
This has led KCorp fans to question whether Vladi is burnt out and if that’s why his performances have dropped.
Some are speculating that this is why Yasin ‘Nisqy’ Dinçer was brought in as a substitute midlaner last month.
LEC broadcaster Laure Valée has also mentioned on her stream that she has heard Vladi is struggling with his mental health.
However, she says KCorp jungler Martin ‘Yike’ Sundelin messaged her and said he is looking after Vladi.
Vladi has had a difficult month after arguing with KCorp fans.
Following harassment in his Twitch chat, Vladi began typing himself and said:
“I am playing for KC, but the majority of the fanbase of this org is by far the worst I’ve seen.
“I would appreciate if the single-digit IQ KC fans shut their mouth and kept their opinions to themselves.”
KCorp owner Kamel ‘Kameto’ Kebir then said he spoke with Vladi and had the midlaner apologise.
He also recommended that Vladi stay away from social media until the season ends.
Who will represent the LEC at Worlds?
Competition is fierce as LEC teams compete to represent EMEA at the LoL World Championships.
The top four of KCorp, G2 Esports, Fnatic, and Movistar Koi emerged earlier in the year.
While they are still currently leading the standings, Team Vitality are also starting to turn heads.
Despite this, only three Worlds spots are available to the LEC teams, meaning someone has to miss out.
And with the elimination of Championship Points, previous performances in the year do not mean anything.
It will all come down to the LEC Summer Playoffs, which are scheduled to start sometime in September.
