It’s hard to believe after so many ups and downs, but the wait for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is nearly over. Paradox has just confirmed it’ll launch on October 21, 2025.
Developed by The Chinese Room (Still Wakes the Deep) after Hardsuit Labs was moved away from the project, the sequel to Troika Games’ seminal 2004 first-person RPG has been one of the bumpiest high-profile projects in recent memory, so the fact it’s hitting the shelves at all should be considered a victory.
This long-awaited announcement also means the marketing will begin to ramp up following tonight’s new trailer, which debuted during the Opening Night Live 2025 show at Gamescom. You can watch it below:
Paradox also shared extra details on what to expect from the game’s different editions at launch. Here’s the rundown:
- The Standard Edition will be priced at $59.99/£49.99/€59.99.
- The Deluxe Edition will sell for $69.99/£58.50/€69.99 and contain Santa Monica Memories, “a cosmetic pack featuring décor items inspired by the original cult classic game.”
- The Premium Edition will sell for $89.99/£74.99/€89.99 and contain Santa Monica Memories and Shadows and Silk, “a content add-on that enables players to choose the Lasombra or Toreador clans for Phyre. Each clan offers unique abilities, play styles, and distinct outfits.”
- Pre-ordering any edition will grant the Bloodlines Nostalgia Jukebox, “an in-game décor item featuring original music by iconic Bloodlines 1 composer Rik Schaffer.”
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is set to launch on PC (Steam, Epic & GOG), PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
