TL;DR

  • Fragbite Group’s stock price has soared since introducing Bitcoin Treasury into its business model to help future-proof its balance sheet.
  • The FRAG price rose almost 80% between the start of the year and the market closing on August 19, 2025.
  • A reverse stock split was executed in late 2024 that saw the conversion of 500 existing shares into one new share.
  • Revenue plummeted by SEK 10.3 million year-on-year in the first quarter, while the group’s loss after tax was SEK -17.4 million.
  • The focus for this year is reviewing the Web3 part of the business, according to Stefan Tengvall, Fragbite’s president and chief executive officer.

Fragbite, the Swedish gaming group, has seen its stock price soar since introducing a Bitcoin Treasury side to its business earlier this year. The company hopes the move will help future-proof its balance sheet and cement its position as a pioneer in the country’s fledgling crypto industry.

Investors have responded positively to the plan. As the market closed on August 19, 2025, the FRAG stock price stood at SEK 13—almost 80% higher than at the start of the year. But are the increases enjoyed in 2025 a one-off, or are the good times set to continue? Should investors buy at this level or wait until the stock price starts to cool?

In our FRAG stock forecast 2025-2030, we look at the company’s latest news, the main drivers of the share price and what analysts expect to see over the coming year.

Fragbite Group stock forecast 2025–2026: One-year FRAG stock projection

Fragbite’s impressive stock price performance this year has lifted its market capitalisation to $10.83 million, making it the world’s eighth-largest esports company.

However, opinions are divided when it comes to where the FRAG share price is likely to be trading in a year’s time. It pretty much depends on whose view you favour.

The gloomiest predictions are that it will fall almost 24% to SEK 9.95. However, this represents the take of just one Wall Street analyst, according to TipRanks.

The algorithmic forecast of WalletInvestor makes for more encouraging reading as the site is predicting shares could hit SEK 18.79 over the next 12 months.

How about the longer-term FRAG stock prediction? What are the Fragbite Group stock predictions of analysts and algorithmic forecasters for the next five years?

Unfortunately, very few Wall Street analysts have expressed a view over this timeframe, which makes it hard to draw a meaningful conclusion.

As far as algorithmic forecasts are concerned, WalletInvestor’s FRAG share price forecast has the stock climbing to SEK 25.49 by August 2027 and reaching SEK 46.53 three years later.

FRAG stock YTD, one-year & five-year performance analysis

Fragbite Group stock year-to-date: +79.31%

The FRAG share price had risen almost 80% to SEK 13 between the start of the year and the market closing on 19 August, 2025.

However, the most significant increases have come since late June 2025 after the company announced it was introducing a Bitcoin Treasury. This is when a company decides to hold some of its financial reserves in the cryptocurrency and can often result in a boost to the stock price.

Observers can regard the move as a useful diversification from its traditional interests, as the business may benefit from subsequent increases in the currency’s value.

Fragbite Group stock one-year performance: +83,770.97%

It might look like the past year has been stunning, but this would be misleading as the company executed a reverse stock split in early December 2024. This move consolidated 500 existing shares into one new share. Prior to the split, the stock was trading around SEK 0.021 per share, and afterwards it stood at SEK 9.6.

Fragbite Group stock five-year performance: +1,733.53%

Firstly, it has only been trading for just over four years, having gone public on July 12, 2021 by listing on the Nasdaq First North Growth Market.

A number of factors must also be considered when looking at the longer-term performance of the FRAG stock price over this period. These include reverse stock splits, acquisitions, and group losses being recorded. This has resulted in a degree of turbulence in the stock price.

Latest earnings results

First quarter group revenue came in at SEK 42.2 million, which was SEK 10.3 million less than the corresponding period in 2024.

In a statement, the company blamed delays in Playdigious’ release schedule and in the Web3 business area.

It added: “EBITDA amounted to SEK 0.7 million, a decline of SEK 4.4 million, the majority of which corresponded to the SEK 4.3 million capital gain on crypto asset sales in Q1 2024.”

First Quarter financial summary: Revenue SEK 42.2M, EBITDA SEK 0.7M, operational EBIT SEK -2.2M. Negative EBIT and result after tax. Cash flow SEK 2.1M

Fragbite’s business areas

It’s important to consider the three areas that make up the Fragbite Group to get a more accurate picture of how the entire business is performing.

Financial table titled 'Financial development per business area' compares Jan-Mar 2025 and Jan-Mar 2024. Categories: Gaming, Esport, Web3, Parent. 2025 Revenue total: 42,230 SEK; Adjusted EBITDA total: 683 SEK. 2024 Revenue total: 52,520 SEK; Adjusted EBITDA total: 5,125 SEK

Gaming

Fragbite’s gaming interests include FunRock & Prey Studios, a Swedish mobile development company, and France-based Playdigious, which makes premium games. There’s also Dutch studio Lucky Kat’s business in the hypercasual mobile games.

Gaming generates the lion’s share of Fragbite’s income, but revenues were SEK 37.18 million for the quarter, down from SEK 45.95 million in the same period of 2024.

The company blamed the delay of one of Playdigious’ games for the decline, while highlighting the “breadth of revenue” from its existing portfolio and upcoming releases.

Esports

The company’s esports operation now comprises Fragbite AB, which is now more of an agency than an event organiser.

It’s worth pointing out that the first quarter is traditionally the weakest for the esports division as most of its activities occur later in the year. However, there’s a larger deficit than usual this time around, due largely to fewer projects under the Config operations.

The new business, Config Ads, only launched in March and was yet to go live as the company announced first-quarter results.

Web3

The final part of the company includes the development of blockchain-based games by both Lucky Kat and Wagmi.

It’s not been a hugely successful period for this division. The company reported that no substantial revenue-generating activities were completed during the three-month period.

In addition, its earnings and cash position were negatively affected by significant delays, which has weighed on the company’s results.

However, it’s also worth noting that Web3’s earnings in the first quarter of 2024 included a capital gain of SEK 4.3 million on crypto asset sales.

Sale post-results

In other Fragbite Group news, it was announced in late May 2025 that two agreements had been signed to sell its shares in Lucky Kat and Wagmi to 4+ventures and Swiss Peak Ventures.

The total purchase price was MSEK 1.94, according to a statement on Nasdaq. As part of the deal, Fragbite will receive a revenue share from the Lucky Kat portfolio over 30 months. This consists of 40% of gross sales from existing games and 20% of gross sales from future web3 adaptations of those games.

In a statement, it declared: “The main reason for the divestment is to halt negative cash flow from the web3 business area which has weighed on the group since the start of 2024 and allow the Lucky Kat and Wagmi team, products and community a chance to thrive in a Web3-focused environment.”

Other Fragbite Group news

In mid-August 2025, the company announced it had purchased approximately 2.5 bitcoin at an average price of $121,113 per bitcoin. This pushes the company’s total holding in the cryptocurrency to 9.5 bitcoin. Its financial target by the end of 2025 is to have 100 bitcoin.

In a statement, Patrik von Bahr, the company’s bitcoin treasury director, explained that Fragbite was in the early stages of its crypto journey but was “moving strongly” towards its target.

He said: “We are rapidly expanding our access to advantageous financing solutions and are currently in promising negotiations which we expect to update the market with soon.”

The company had previously revealed an investment of SEK 5 million, consisting of an interest-free loan, intended to be convertible into shares in the company.

What is the outlook?

A key conclusion for our FRAG stock analysis is looking at what is likely to happen to the share price over the coming year.

Stefan Tengvall, Fragbite’s president and chief executive officer, noted the gaming and esports divisions were profitable, but acknowledged “a tough situation” in the Web3 business.

He stated: “Our focus for this year is to review the entire organisation, improve the structure, sell assets where favourable and redirect where needed so that we can reduce debt and close 2025 with profitability across the group.”

What is Fragbite Group?

Fragbite Group is a Swedish developer and publisher of gaming-related content for both traditional and modern platforms.

The Stockholm-based company was launched back in 2003 and has been listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market since 2021.

Conclusion: Should I buy Fragbite Group stock?

It’s hard not to be impressed by the share price increase enjoyed since the start of the year, but you’ll need to consider whether this is sustainable.

This boost followed the introduction of a Bitcoin Treasury, but it’s unclear how long the positive effects of this move will last.

The longer-term financial well-being of the company and its individual divisions is expected to have a more significant bearing on the stock price going forward.
