Sports betting solutions provider Betby has added three more sports to its expanding esports portfolio, including eVolleyball, eBoxing, and the world’s first, eKabbadi.

Betby announced the new titles on the company’s official blog, which expands the number of sports offered through Betby Games to 22.

Kirill Nekrasov, Head of Sportsbook Product at Betby, commented: “We’re heading into the new sports season at full speed and pushing the Betby Games portfolio to new heights.

“Each of the new titles is unique and important for the market, we’re filling the live content gap across all directions. The launch of eKabaddi shows that for the Betby Games team, nothing is impossible.”

Virtual Kabbadi Targets Asian Market

The world’s first virtual version of Indian sport Kabbadi attempts to capture the attention of the world’s most populous country. India surpassed China, whose population is in decline, in 2023, and continues to grow its numbers, which now exceed 1.4 billion people.

In terms of gaming, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has become one of the most popular games in the country since its relaunch this year.

With Kabbadi being one of the most played sports in the country, eKabbadi could also become popular. The International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) claims that there are tens of millions of active Kabaddi players worldwide, concentrated in India and surrounding countries.

The launch of eKabbadi coincides with the upcoming Season 12 of the Indian Pro Kabaddi League.

Betby notes that, “With over 7,500 monthly matches, two 5-minute halves per game, and a unique real-sport integration, eKabaddi offers operators a powerful way to maintain 24/7 fan engagement and retention, even between real-world fixtures.”

In addition to Kabbadi, Betby also hopes that eBoxing will attract fans for the novelty of pitting some of the sport’s most iconic figures up against today’s best fighters.

The company highlights that the virtual matches will feature a range of “modern-day stars like Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk to true legends such as Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, and the Klitschko brothers”.

Fights will be limited to a single 2-minute round, and betting will be available on over 20,000 fights a month.

The addition of eVolleyball will also add around 15,000 events per month, taking the number of virtual sports matches generated by Betby to around 400,000.

As well as adding new esports titles, the company also announced last week that it has released a new in-house trading model for soccer.

“By combining expert insights with advanced automation, we’re helping our partners strengthen their market offering, improve trading margins, and unlock the potential for exclusive tournament experiences, just in time for the kickoff of Europe’s top leagues,” said Andris Backovs, Head of Trading at Betby.
