Fnatic has become the first EMEA team to qualify for VALORANT Champions Paris following a dominant win over Apeks in VCT Stage 2.
The British organisation has accumulated enough Championship Points by lifting the Stage 1 trophy and earning a second-place finish at Masters Toronto.
Fnatic’s journey in the 2025 VCT season started off with an underwhelming performance at the Kickoff event, finishing 5th/6th in the compeition. However, despite its rough start, the players not only improved but dominated throughout the season, making the team one of the top contenders for VCT Stage 2’s trophy as well.
As a result of its VALORANT Champions qualification, the team’s IGL, Jake ‘Boaster’ Howlett, has never missed Champions in his entire career, though he is yet to lift a trophy.
Apeks, on the other hand, has already been relegated back to Challengers after failing to win even a single series in the 2025 VCT season.
Fnatic is now placed in the upper bracket of Stage 2 playoffs round one, with its opponent to be decided through a draw once the group stage concludes on August 16th.
