Rumor has it that Lego plans to launch a new Black Pearl in September 2025. It has almost 3,000 pieces and comes with eight minifigures.
Rumors have been circulating online for several months that Lego is working on a new version of the Black Pearl. Now, numerous new leaks and information have emerged, including the first image of the legendary pirate ship from Pirates of the Caribbean and a list of characters. We’ll tell you everything there is to know so far.
More than just sailor’s yarn
There has been no official announcement yet, but leaks regarding Lego have been extremely reliable in the past. Please note, however, that all information is subject to change and has not been officially confirmed by Lego.

Regarding the price, it should be noted that, according to the product image, many large bricks are used and several sails are included.
This means that the cost per brick cannot be compared directly with other models. Nevertheless, the Black Pearl is not cheap. As always, however, you can expect substantial discounts in the open market – often immediately after release.

The last Black Pearl from Lego was released in 2011 and has been out of production since 2012. The model consisted of 804 pieces, six minifigures and cost €100. The price per brick was 12.2 cents, which is similar to the upcoming model.
The largest Black Pearl already exists: The largest Black Pearl made from building blocks incidentally comprises 3,180 bricks and was created by Mould King. The model costs $150 at BlueBrixx, which equates to 4.7 cents per piece. However, bear in mind that the set is sold without an official license and does not include any minifigures.
