Rocket League has announced in a blog post that it will celebrate its 10-year anniversary through a collaboration with Canadian electronic music producer Joel Zimmerman, also known as deadmau5.
The event will run from August 5th at 9:00 AM PT to August 20, 2025, at 11:00 PM PT, with in-game rewards on offer such as decals, anthems, boosts and more.
Deadmau5’s limited-time event will bring 13 in-game rewards, 11 of which is themed after the anniversary collaboration, for players to earn by completing challenges.
These rewards include deadmau5’s new ‘8ths’ anthem, which can be earned by playing a match with a teammate using the same anthem. The deadmau5 Marble topper can be acquired by gaining three XP levels during the event.
The Synth Sonic boost is obtained by getting seven assists or centres in online matches. The Bad Bass trail is unlocked by scoring 10 goals online. Winning three online matches will reward players with the Anniversary Crate, which contains items from Champion series 1-4, and is repeatable up to five times.
Purchasable deadmau5 Items Available In Store
There are two bundles up for grabs within the in-game store during the 10th anniversary deadmau5 collaboration.
The McLaren 570S has a new bundle on offer with a selection of deadmau5 themed decals. The bundle itself will cost 900 credits and includes 10 items. According to the blog post, players who already own the McLaren 570S Car Body will receive the Phase and Blaze decals for free.

The second bundle that will be available is the deadmau5 Player Anthem bundle. It includes five songs from the Error5 EP collection, set to debut in Rocket League on August 5th, and joining the game’s official Spotify playlist on August 8th.
