Battlefield 6: Multiplayer reveal partially leaked, release confirmed, and insider info on the start of the beta

This trailer is coming earlier than EA would like.

Shortly before the official multiplayer reveal of Battlefield 6 on July 31 at 8:30 p.m. German time, there are several new leaks that reveal a ton of information.

According to the usually well-informed gaming website Insider Gaming, parts of the upcoming multiplayer trailer and the dates for the beta have been leaked.

It’s Just One Of Those Days

What happened? The trailer was supposed to kick off the big multiplayer reveal this Thursday evening, but now leakers have apparently beaten EA to the punch: A 15-second clip posted by Twitter user @MisterYeWest shows scenes from the eagerly awaited video in advance.

What does the leak show? You can see tank battles, level destruction, dogfights in fighter jets, a medic pulling wounded soldiers to safety, and (of course) crashing helicopters. The whole thing is accompanied by a version of the legendary nu metal song “Break Stuff” by US band Limp Bizkit from 1999.

We are not featuring the leaked video on GameStar. You can find the clip at X (formerly Twitter) or at Insider Gaming.

Incidentally, this also seems to confirm the leaked release date, as October 10 now appears here again.

In addition, it is clear at the end of the video that pre-orders will be possible from the multiplayer reveal.

However, fans are warning against this: The top comment under last week’s BF6 trailer, with around 240,000 thumbs up, simply reads: “Remember, no pre-orders.”

Beta dates for BF6

At the same time, Insider Gaming also reports on the alleged dates for the planned Battlefield 6 beta. Although this has been officially confirmed, no details have been given about when it will take place.

According to the report, there will be two beta weekends, each running from Thursday to Sunday – however, not all days will be open beta. Instead, a beta key will apparently be required for some days, which fans will be able to obtain via Twitch Drops.

Here are the beta dates:

First beta phase

  • August 7 and 8: Closed beta (only with code/invitation via Twitch Drops)
  • August 9 and 10: Open beta (no key required)

Second beta phase

  • August 14 to 17: Open beta (no key required)

On Discord Tom Henderson is still sticking to the leak. According to him, the response is merely a matter of terminology. Henderson writes: “Closed beta or early access, whatever – it’s all the same.” If this is true, EA is marketing the first two beta days on August 7 and 8 as early access.

We will of course keep you up to date with all the latest news about Battlefield 6.
