In 2025, OpenSea, the largest non-fungible token market platform by trading sales volume and trading users, has consistently focused on innovation to improve its non-fungible token market platform. In its recent development, the NFT market platform has launched a renewed creator studio 2.0. This new NFT studio will allow NFT holders to design a custom page for their NFT art and share it.
OpenSea Introduces Creators Studio 2.0
In a July 30 blog post, the OpenSea NFT team confirmed that they have introduced a NFT creator studio 2.0 for their upgrade OS2. The upgraded Creator Studio 2.0 will allow non-fungible token holders to pick a non-fungible token collection from more than 20 blockchain networks and schedule the minting date. This NFT tool also allows holder to design a custom page for their NFT and share it online.

Launched in 2017, OpenSea is a non-fungible token market platform that allows crypto users to buy, sell, create, and trade NFTs. This platform has rapidly grown to become one of the largest NFT trading platforms, with more than three million active users and a daily trading volume of about $4.5 million as of January 2024. OpenSea is also a non-custodial platform, allowing users complete control and access to cryptocurrency wallets.
Over the course of 2024, the OpenSea team announced plans to build a new NFT market platform for discovering, buying, and selling NFTs. This reimagined marketplace version is called OS2. The OS2 NFT marketplace expands beyond just NFT trading to include token trading and offering enhanced features like cross-chain purchasing and aggregated marketplace listings. It’s designed to create a more unified experience for trading both NFTs and other digital assets.
OS2 Explained
OpenSea launched its OS2 platform on February 13, 2025, marking a significant upgrade to its NFT marketplace. OS2 is a revamped NFT marketplace, evolving from a traditional NFT trading hub to a cross-chain, full-spectrum trading platform. The NFT platform allows users to trade not just NFTs, but also popular fungible tokens like $Pengu and $Trump across over 20 blockchains.
The OpenSea NFT marketplace aimed to provide a unified, one-stop platform for all on-chain activity, enabling users to mint NFTs on one blockchain, swap tokens on another, and purchase meme coins, all within a single wallet flow. The new platform eliminates the need for multiple bridges or separate applications. OS2 distinguishes itself by offering aggregated listings, cross-chain purchasing, and an integrated wallet sidebar, all designed to streamline the NFT trading experience for users.
