Battlefield 6: A leak reveals an entire game mode, but it won’t be available until after release

The data miners just keep digging. Their latest find is a map that likely belongs to the Battle Royale mode.

With all the leaks, it’s almost a miracle that EA and Dice still have anything new to show for Battlefield 6. But at least last week’s reveal trailer was a surprise for fans. The map for the battle royale mode, on the other hand, is unlikely to surprise anyone, thanks to a new leak.

Map for Battle Royale in Battlefield 6

The well-known data miner temporyal already revealed the first details about Battle Royale at the end of May and also claimed that the game mode will not be available when Battlefield 6 is released.

The leaker doesn’t know exactly when it will be released, but they do know where. The map is said to be called Lyndon Beach, has already been discovered in the game files, and has been reconstructed into an image. Here you can see the complete map:

The leaked map has nine major points of interest, namely:

  • Marina
  • Lighthouse
  • Main Street North
  • Main Street South
  • Gold Resort
  • The Valley
  • South Coast
  • Fort Lyndon
  • The Docks

In addition, there are just under 30 smaller POIs, such as several beaches, a water treatment plant, oil pumps, and the campus of a technical university.

There are also indications of a subway system, according to temporyal. This could potentially allow players to move quickly across longer distances on the map.

No Battle Royale for the Battlefield 6 release

EA may have already revealed the release date for the new Battlefield and is aiming for a release on October 11, 2025.

According to the leaks, the BR mode will be free and will only be released after the launch of the main game. The start of Season 1, also without an official date, will be used for this purpose. Please note that all of this information is unofficial leaks that have not been confirmed by EA or any of the Battlefield studios. The leaks all originate from the Battlefield Labs community test program. Officially, things will continue on July 31, 2025. Multiplayer will be unveiled at 8:30 p.m. German time. The Battle Royale mode will most likely not be included.
