s1mple Signs to BC.Game CS2 in Surprise Transfer

After nearly two years of awkwardly sitting on the bench, Global Offensive GOAT Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev is breaking ties with Natus Vincere to play for BC.Game.

s1mple and BC.Game revealed the shock transfer on July 28, 2025, through their official social media channels. The signing is a complete surprise to fans, who largely expected s1mple to wait out his Na’Vi contract and move on to other projects. In his personal statement, s1mple says he still has the desire to play at the top competitive level and wants to rebuild with a relatively unknown stack. The team’s debut event is currently unknown.

Why did s1mple transfer to BC.Game?

s1mple cited his desire to return to professional play and wants to build a low-tier team into an elite competitor.

In his statement, s1mple referred to his inactivity as wasting time. He has sat on the Na’Vi bench for two years, but has gone on loan twice. The first was a disappointing showing with Team Falcons in 2024 and, in 2025, a string of reasonable finishes with FaZe Clan. The terms of the loan prevents s1mple from staying with either team regardless of results. He has confirmed that is now officially free of his Na’Vi contract, opening him up for a long-term project with BC.Game.

“I just want to play, BC.Game gave me the chance, and they’re serious about building a top-tier team… I haven’t done anything for two years, it’s time to change that, can’t waste/lose game time sitting on bench,” said s1mple.

The transfer came seemingly out of nowhere, but BC.Game has a habit of reaching into Global Offensive history to fill its roster. The team previously signed Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács as a coach, though he moved into the server in late 2024. The sponsor also contracted Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad of FaZe fame, though he is currently listed as inactive. With s1mple’s addition, BC.Game’s current CS2 roster is as follows.

  • Nemanja “nexa” Isaković (Captain)
  • Luca “pr1metapz” Voigt
  • Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev

The squad still needs two more players and a coach to be a full competitive roster. With s1mple now in the mix, many players may be willing to fill out the lineup.
