With the Mid-Season Invitational and Esports World Cup ending, League of Legends’ major regions, including the LTA North and South, are kicking off the final leg of their esports ecosystems.

The third split of the 2025 season, importantly, determines the participating teams at the year-ending League of Legends World Championship in China. So, before the action kicks off this weekend, let’s take a look at all the roster moves for the LTA North and LTA South teams.

Disclaimer: If a team isn’t featured, that means the organisation has opted to stick with its Split 2 roster.

LTA North Roster Changes

Disguised changes two members

Disguised is looking to bounce back after two disappointing splits at the start of the season. As a result, it has brought in veteran ADC Cho ‘Rahel‘ Min-seong from SK Gaming and domestic talent Isaac ‘DARKWINGS‘ Chou, replacing Jeremiah ‘ScaryJerry‘ Leathe and Felix ‘Abbedagge‘ Braun, respectively.

The bot lane of Choi ‘huhi‘ Jae-hyun and Rahel is expected to bring some stability to raise the floor of the team. Disguised’s potential will also likely be determined by how explosive of a debut DARKWINGS can have in Split 3.

Top lane swaps for LYON Esports and Dignitas

Speaking of new talents, LYON Esports has made a roster change in the top lane, bringing in Frankie ‘Zamudo‘ Lin.

Coming from DarkZero Dragonsteel, Zamundo is one of the promising prospects from the NACL scene. The top laner previously played with jungler Ganbat ‘Yuuji‘ Ulziidelger, who then went on to play for Team Liquid, taking the place from UmTi.

Dignitas has also changed its top laner, with Jett Michael ‘Srtty‘ being replaced by Joye Kyeong ‘Photon‘ Gyu-tae. The former LEC top laner was recently playing for Beşiktaş Esports in Türkiye.

Srtty later announced that he will be transitioning to a streamer role for the organisation, while he looks for other options to return to pro play.

LTA South Roster Changes

LOUD will be a must-watch team for LTA South fans this split, having picked up two intriguing players as the team aims for Worlds.

Replacing Thiago ‘tinowns‘ Sartori and Diogo ‘Shini‘ Rogê Moreira, LOUD has signed South Korean midlaner Kang ‘Jool‘ Dong-soo from the TCL and American rookie Johnson ‘Gryffinn‘ Le, previously of T1 Esports Academy.

Considered a big prospect among the new generation of talents, Gryffinn will now get his first chance in the tier-one scene in the Jungle.

Red Canids promotes talents; new players for Fluxo w7m

As opposed to the LTA North, several teams from LTA South have made substantial roster moves.

RED Canids have announced its new roster for the Summer Split, promoting three players from its academy team. Raí ‘DOOM‘ Yamada will be the jungler, while Lucas Sebastian ‘Kaze‘ Fe and Guilherme ‘Rabelo‘ Rabelo Muniz are going to be the starting mid laner and ADC, respectively.

The new line-up will be under the guidance of esports personality Gabriel ‘tockers‘ Claumann, who had previously played competitively before retiring in 2020.

Fluxo w7m is also making three roster moves compared to Split 2, bringing in jungler Yan ‘Yampi‘ Christian Petermann, support Fábio ‘ProDelta‘ Luis Bezerra Marques and top laner Pedro ‘curty‘ Curty, the latter of which is on loan from LOUD.

Isurus and Estral terminated its partnership before the start of LTA South Split 3, with the former retaining the slot in the league.

As a result, both Korean imports Park ‘Summit‘ Woo-tae and mid laner Jeong ‘Mireu‘ Jo-bin have left the team, with the Summit joining Estral Esports in the LRN (tier 2) and Mireu going to Vivo Keyd Stars.

In their stead, Isurus has picked up top laner Enzo ‘ZOEN‘ Ganino and mid laner Francisco ‘Leza‘ Rubén Jara Barragán to form a full domestic line-up for Split 3.

Both the LTA North and South Conferences will be kicking off the third split on Saturday, July 26th. Fans can tune into both leagues via LTA North and LTA South’s official Twitch channels.
