The Esports World Cup (EWC) has announced the broadcast talent for the League of Legends (LoL) tournament.

The lineup features many talents that weren’t featured at the current Mid-Season Invitational (MSI), including British caster Dan ‘Aux’ Harrison.

Set to take place just a few days after the ongoing MSI, on Wednesday, July 16th.

They’re ready and they’ve got all the lanes covered!

The EWC LoL tournament will feature British broadcast talent of Dan ‘Aux’ Harrison.

He’ll join fellow LoL Champions Korea (LCK) Global broadcast talent at the EWC.

Aux has been casting the LCK since the start of last year after previously casting for China’s LoL Pro League (LPL), NLC and EU Masters.

He also used to play for the British team Excel Esports, who are now known as GiantX.

Aux joins the EWC as one of only two British stars on the broadcast talent lineup.

Similar to the Valorant broadcast talent at the EWC, British Iain Chambers will be the on-stage host with Abdulaziz ‘Fancy’ Alrasheed.

Possibly due to its schedule proximity with MSI, many of the broadcast talent who missed out on MSI have joined this year’s EWC lineup.

This includes Daniel ‘dGon’ Gonzales, who is also the desk host for the Valorant tournament.

Former professional players and now analysts, William ‘Meteos’ Hartman and Finn ‘Finn’ Wiestål, will also be at the event.

Popular co-streamer of the LPL, Athena ‘Kitty’ Jiang, will also be at the EWC to host the interviews with the players.

The full list of broadcast talent is:

  • Iain Chambers (Stage Host)
  • Abdulaziz ‘Fancy’ Alrasheed (Stage Host)
  • Daniel ‘dGon’ Gonzales (Desk Host)
  • Brendan ‘Valdes’ Valdes (Analyst)
  • William ‘Meteos’ Hartman (Analyst)
  • Finn ‘Finn’ Wiestål (Analyst)
  • Max ‘Atlus’ Anderson (Caster)
  • Dan ‘Aux’ Harrison (Caster)

League of Legends at Esports World Cup

The LoL EWC begins next week on Wednesday, July 16th, where some of the best teams will compete for a part of the total prize pool of $70m (~£54.8m).

This will come just days after the Grand Final of MSI in Toronto, Canada, on Saturday, July 13th.

Teams will be forced to adapt quickly to the new time zone and environment before competing again.

The competing teams qualified based on their seeding in their regional league.

Meaning that all of the teams that competed at MSI will also be competing once again at EWC.

Additional teams include third seeds Cloud 9 and Hanwha Life Gaming.
