Fortnite crossovers: 10 collabs we’d love to see

The crossover scene in online gaming is bigger than ever in 2025, especially for Fortnite. You can play as your favourite celebrities and action heroes, including legendary icons like Spider-Man and Bruno Mars.

Though the number of third-party characters you can use is already high, Epic Games plans to add even more options to the roster. This list will walk you through the history of Fortnite crossovers, along with a few of the franchises that deserve to collaborate with the popular battle royale.

The first collaborations in Fortnite were released in Chapter 1. Marshmello’s concert and the Thanos crossover offered unique experiences for a limited time, which eventually became commonplace in every new season of Fortnite.

Fortnite has collaborated with Disney many times, along with DC and various popular anime shows. There are hundreds of movies, games, and real-world icons that Fortnite could create cosmetics for next, so let’s jump into which collabs we’d like to see in the future.

The following list contains 10 shows, games, and movies that have yet to receive crossovers in Fortnite.

Dragon Ball is no stranger to Fortnite, as popular characters like Goku, Bulma, and Frieza are already on the battle royale’s roster. Unfortunately, Dragon Ball Daima content has yet to appear as of July 2025.

Epic could create outfits for Super Saiyan 4 Goku or even Glorio, plus there’s room for new mythic items that let you fly and shoot ki blasts. Anime crossovers tend to be popular in Fortnite, so we predict that a Daima collaboration might be in the works. Any new blasts would certainly promote a ranged meta for competitive Fortnite.

Pixar’s Cars is an animated movie series full of lovable characters for children and adults alike. Leakers like ShiinaBR have been predicting a Cars collaboration for months, so it’s quite possible that the Item Shop could receive a few vehicle skins themed around cast members like Lightning McQueen.

New vehicles could also be introduced for a Cars crossover, which might offer a switch-up to the meta that usually revolves around guns and melee weapons. A Cars collaboration would be lots of fun, but it would probably be primarily based on cosmetics.

Death Stranding 2 was just released on PlayStation 5, so it’s the perfect time for a crossover event. A Sam Porter skin would be likely, but a variety of unique vehicles could make it onto the Chapter 6 Island.

We predict that a Death Stranding Fortnite crossover wouldn’t be the focus of an entire season, but it could introduce a few new gameplay mechanics or items that are present in the popular title.

A few notable Fortnite leakers, including Loolo_WRLD and Egyptian_Leaker, have noted that a crossover with The Simpsons is likely to be released in 2025. The Simpsons could even have a whole season themed around their beloved town, which might include skins for the main characters.

If The Simpsons does receive a Fortnite crossover, then cosmetics are nearly a done deal. However, we’ll have to wait and see if Fortnite offers new locations and gameplay items themed around the long-running animated show.

Many superheroes have flown into Fortnite over the last few years, so it’s not out of the question that members of The Seven could also make an appearance. Numerous characters might receive outfits in a crossover, though the true excitement lies in the possibility of new mythic items.

Characters from The Boys display super speed and even flight, and hopefully, many of these powers could be introduced via new weapons. Fortnite’s meta would change dramatically in a season dedicated to The Boys, especially if more superpowered mythics are released.

The second season of the live-action One Piece show is releasing very soon, which could indicate that a collab is on the horizon in Fortnite: Battle Royale. Luffy, Zoro, or even a villain like Arlong may make it into the lineup of outfits. New boats could also rift onto Fortnite Island to offer a new approach to combat.

There are so many ways that a One Piece Fortnite collaboration could come to fruition in Fortnite, as devil fruits open the door to hundreds of possible mythic items. Anime crossovers are almost always popular, so One Piece would be a great choice for Fortnite’s next collab.

Peter and Cleveland from Family Guy are both available in Fortnite, but Stan Smith is still missing. The main character from American Dad is a logical pick for a future skin, though it’s unclear if this crossover will ever be released.

There are many guns and unique weapons present throughout American Dad, so new equipment is a possibility, but cosmetics are often the focus of animated collaborations. Regardless of how a hypothetical crossover is handled, it’d be great to get another animated Dad in Fortnite soon.

The Last of Us is a video game that was recently made into a TV show, so the franchise is more popular than ever. Outfits for Ellie, Joel, and Abby could be available in a collab, but it’s anyone’s guess as to whether Fortnite would create models based on the game or the show.

If a season were to be themed around The Last of Us, then perhaps a few new guns would be introduced into the loot pool. The Last of Us offers the perfect opportunity for another post-apocalyptic crossover, especially since The Walking Dead just received new content in Fortnite.

South Park is a cartoon, so it’d be easy to implement in Fortnite. The adult residents would probably make the best costumes, like Randy and Mr. Garrison.

There are also dozens of unique locations from South Park that might be present in a crossover. A visit to the cold mountain town in Epic’s battle royale would be a treat, plus some special equipment could be added to Fortnite’s arsenal inspired by the animated show.

Yet another popular Disney franchise, Toy Story, would be the perfect partner for a collaboration. Fortnite skins for Woody and Buzz would be ideal, and Bullseye could even be a glider.

A new Reload map would be a good way to introduce a Toy Story crossover, as there are many locations from the series that could make interesting points of interest. If Disney gets even more involved with Fortnite, then perhaps a collab could be released alongside Toy Story 5.

As Epic Games expands on Fortnite’s universe, players can expect to see more characters from popular media. Though rumours point towards the next few crossover partners, only Epic Games knows what the future holds for Fortnite.

Whether it’s an anime hero or a comedy classic, Fortnite’s crossovers are popular because they often capture the true essence of the original franchise. Luckily, it doesn’t look like Fortnite’s crossover events are slowing down anytime soon.
