The Esports World Cup (EWC) has announced the broadcast talent for its upcoming Valorant tournament.

The talent lineup features British and Irish talent, including Iain Chambers, Tom ‘Tombizz’ Bissmire, Mitch ‘MitchMan’ McBride, and Morgan ‘BigTime’ Jay.

Valorant at the EWC is set to kick off on Tuesday, July 8th, just a few weeks after the conclusion of Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Masters Toronto.

British talent set to shine at Esports World Cup

The EWC Valorant tournament will feature broadcast talent from both the UK and Ireland.

Jumping on the stage will be famed British host known for his presence across multiple esports titles, Iain Chambers.

Supporting him on the analyst desk will be Morgan ‘BigTime’ Jay from the VCT Pacific broadcast team.

At the forefront of the action are casters Tom ‘Tombizz’ Bissmire and Mitch ‘MitchMan’ McBride.

Both of whom are experienced casters, having cast the biggest Valorant tournaments since 2021.

Joining Iain Chambers on the stage will be the local talent of Abdulaziz ‘Fancy’ Alrasheed.

Fancy is also the Head of Operations of Saudi esports organisation, Twisted Minds, who will also be competing at EWC in other titles.

Supporting them on stage will be Victoria Cheng, who will be conducting the main player interviews.

Meanwhile, popular analysts Andrej ‘babybay’ Francisty and Beatriz ‘kaquka’ Alonso will be joining the analyst desk.

Valorant at Esports World Cup

The Valorant EWC kicks off next week on Tuesday, July 8th, where some of the best teams will compete for a part of the total prize pool of $70m (~£54.8m).

UK-based esports organisation, Fnatic, will look to obtain glory after coming second at the recent VCT Masters Toronto Grand Finals.

However, they’ll have to face the ‘group of death’ at this year’s tournament.

Fnatic has a strong presence at the EWC, finalising lineups across eight esports titles this year.

Meanwhile, Team Heretics with British star Benjy ‘benjyfishy’ Fish will look to redeem themselves after a terrible showing at VCT Masters Toronto.

Recently, the EWC has caused controversy in the ALGS and other esports events, causing players to drop out.

The event has come under scrutiny with accusations of sport-washing of the country’s human rights record.
