Puzzle Quest, the much-loved mashup of match-3 puzzling and RPG mechanics, is returning today in a brand new Immortal Edition, which has been announced by developer Infinity Plus 2 and publisher 505 Games. It will be launched on September 18th for PC (Steam, GOG, Epic), Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox One / Series X/S.
The Immortal Edition is the “definitive edition” of Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, first released in 2007. It bundles in all content from past expansions and ports, plus fresh material made especially for this release. Key inclusions:
-
The original base game: four classes — Warrior, Knight, Wizard, Druid — and a fantasy campaign across Etheria.
-
Revenge of the Plague Lord expansion: previously available on consoles, but now coming to the PC for the first time. Adds a questline and four more classes: Bard, Ranger, Rogue, and Warlock.
-
The Legend Returns (Switch-exclusive): already had the above plus the Attack of the Golem Lord expansion (100+ quests) and five more classes (Blood Mage, Priest, Monk, Paladin, Elementalist).
Puzzle Quest: Immortal Edition is priced at US$14.99 on Steam, with discounts for Switch owners who already own The Legend Returns. It will support Steam Deck.
