Natus Vincere (NAVI) has announced its expansion into Marvel Rivals esports after signing the winning roster of the Ignite Mid-Season Finals, previously known as Team1 (Rad EU).
NAVI has set its eyes on Marvel Rivals Ignite Stage 2 EMEA, where the team has successfully progressed through the Open Qualifiers and will compete for a place in the Ignite Grand Finals.
NAVI’s Marvel Rivals roster will consist of:
- Nikolai ‘Naga’ Dereli
- Maxwell ‘fate’ Currie
- Rasmus ‘Raajaro’ Rosvall
- Mark ‘Lv1Crook’ Leveleki
- Oliver ‘TrqstMe’ Pöhler
- Majd ‘Crysis’ Gerges
- Jurica ‘Jur3ky’ Risek
The roster had previously been in search of a new organisation to sign with ever since its contract ended with Rad Esports following the LAN international event in Guangzhou, China.
Not everyone from that original team has made it to the new organisation. One member of the championship-winning roster, Adam ‘Meliø‘ Jensen, left the roster before NAVI’s announcement to join EMEA Stage 1 champions, Citadel Gaming (formerly Brr Brr Patapim).
Both teams are set to compete in Ignite Stage 2, and so fans eagerly anticipate watching the player face off against his former teammates.
Roster Changes Ahead of Ignite Stage 2
Other teams have also made revisions to active rosters ahead of Marvel Rivals Ignite Stage 2, hoping to claim a spot in the Grand Finals.
While NAVI has entered the scene, Season 2 EMEA championship winners, Ex Oblivionne, recently announced it would be departing after several months of competitive play. Shortly after ending its contract with its Rad EU roster, Rad Esports announced its return to the Americas scene with a brand new roster under its helm.
Americas Ignite Stage 1 champions Sentinels also parted ways with three members of its original Mid-Season Finals roster, before welcoming its new Duellist player Jilani ‘Avery’ Bouajila.
