Fnatic has officially announced that Marek ‘Humanoid‘ Brázda is departing its League of Legends roster after three years with the team.

Humanoid became inactive in July 2025 when Fnatic signed Sungwon ‘Poby’ Yun as its new starting mid-laner for the LEC Summer Split. Since joining Fnatic, Humanoid has never missed a World Championship appearance with the team and has consistently challenged for trophies despite the organisation’s struggles to secure a domestic title.

The Czech mid-laner, who joined in early 2022, has not disclosed if he’ll move to another roster in the region.

“I think I’ve grown a lot since I joined,” said the player in a farewell video posted on Fnatic’s X profile.

The team also expressed its gratitude for his “incredible plays, unforgettable moments, and the legacy” Humanoid leaves behind, calling his era with Fnatic “absolute cinema”.

Sam Matthews, CEO of Fnatic, also paid tribute to the “incredible” player via X, adding how “super sad” he is to not have won a title while Humanoid was on the team.

“I know how much you put in, every single day. Thank you for the absolute cinema, wins and smiles,” Matthews concluded.

Three Years with Fnatic

Since his arrival at Fnatic in 2022 from MAD Lions — where he had won 2 LEC championships — Humanoid became a cornerstone of the team’s strategy and identity.

Over the years, he helped the team reach several LEC finals. Yet, despite the team’s struggles, Humanoid delivered standout numbers, leading mid-laners in damage and gold share time and time again while also surpassing 1,000 career LEC kills.

What comes next for Humanoid remains uncertain. With his contract status and future team still unannounced, fans are left to wonder whether he will seek another challenge in the LEC, explore opportunities abroad, or take time away from competition altogether.
