Riot Games has launched CompeteTFT, a dedicated esports platform for Teamfight Tactics (TFT), providing comprehensive coverage of the TFT Pro Circuit and upcoming global tournaments.

The website, which went live on August 20th, serves as a centralised hub for players and fans to track the Pro Circuit. CompeteTFT provides event information for each region, alongside competitor statistics, standings and schedules for all stages of the TFT Pro Circuit (TPC).

The platform currently supports Set 15 competitions, including the Battle Academia Cup, Soul Fighter Cup and Star Guardian Cup, with players competing for qualification to the Regional Finals and ultimately the Tactician’s Crown.

According to the announcement, the CompeteTFT platform will expand its functionality in Set 16, eventually becoming the central home for the TFT esports ecosystem. The expanded features will include support for the Path to Pro system, allowing aspiring professionals to register and compete in regional Trials and Cups on their journey to the Pro Circuit.

The website also features region-specific pages with localised content and event information. The AMER, APAC, and EMEA sections include detailed competitive structure breakdowns, registration guides and upcoming event calendars, with the next major milestone being the TPC event on August 29th.

Expanding TFT’s Competitive Ecosystem

The launch of CompeteTFT represents a significant investment in TFT’s competitive infrastructure as the game continues to grow its esports presence. The Pro Circuit format brings together the most skilled players from each region to compete through multiple cups, with performances determining qualification for international competition.

Regional tournament information is currently available for AMER, APAC and EMEA regions, with dedicated support pages for each territory’s competitive structure and registration processes. The platform launches in tandem with the announcement of the TFT Paris Open, continuing the game’s tradition of global championship events following successful tournaments in Macao and Las Vegas in previous years.

Unlike Riot’s approach with League of Legends and VALORANT, which feature franchised leagues and partnership systems, TFT esports’ approach allows for greater accessibility, with players able to climb from ranked play directly into professional competition without organisational backing, creating a more unique and fluid ecosystem that rewards individual skill over traditional infrastructure.
