TL;DR

  • Kai’Sa is a LoL champion with 16 skins in the game at the time of writing
  • Most Kai’Sa skins can be bought with Riot Points either in the shop or through the Legacy Vault
  • Some Kai’Sa skins are rarer than others, such as her Prestige K/DA skins and the Immortalized Legend skin
  • Some of the best skins for Kai’Sa are iG, Star Guardian, Prestige K/DA and Heavenscale.

Kai’Sa is a popular Void champion from League of Legends whose flexibility, scaling potential and combination of magic and physical damage make her a force to be reckoned with when played correctly.

At the time of writing–August 2025–Kai’Sa has 16 skins, all of which have their positives. Some skins are more noteworthy than others, though. In this list, we’re going to be looking at 10 of the best Kai’Sa skins currently in League of Legends as of 2025.

Top 10 Kai’Sa skins, ranked

These Kai’Sa skins are the best of the best due to their excellent designs, well-made animations and dazzling effects. The skins that have made it onto this list also go well with Kai’Sa’s character, suiting her physical look and personality.

Check out the table below for a quick rundown of the best Kai’Sa skins in League of Legends at the time of writing, along with details on how to obtain each skin and what they cost.

10. Bullet Angel

Kai'Sa in sleek suit soars through space with glowing blue thrusters, debris flying around
Bullet Angel draws inspiration from Metroid Prime’s Samus and Overwatch’s Pharah / Image credit: Riot Games and League of Legends
  • Skin cost: 1,350 RP
  • Release date: March 7, 2018
  • Chromas: Amethyst, Aquamarine, Catseye, Granite, Maverick, Obsidian, Pearl, Rose Quartz and Ruby
  • Part of the Steel Valkyries skin collection.

Bullet Angel dresses Kai’Sa in a futuristic, flying mecha suit reminiscent of sci-fi style armour. It suits her character very well, but its execution is also excellent. The animations and effects aren’t quite as impressive as some of the ones for the other skins on this list, but they are still a fun addition and match the sci-fi themes. It also includes a helmet that can be toggled on and off, which is a nice touch.

9. Inkshadow

A dynamic scene depicts a silver-haired Kai'Sa with horns, striking a powerful pose with glowing red blades and armor

  • Skin cost: 1,350 RP
  • Release date: May 3, 2023
  • Chromas: Amethyst, Catseye, Emerald, Inked, Jasper, Obsidian, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire
  • Part of the Inkshadow skin collection.

The Inkshadow League of Legends skins are particularly artistic, inspired by Japanese-style art made with traditional ink. Kai’Sa’s Inkshadow skin reflects the themes well, with unique effects that show her leaving ink trails as she moves and attacks. It’s a little basic, but it’s hard to ignore the muted visual impressiveness of Kai’Sa’s Inkshadow skin.

8. Arcade

Kai'Sa with purple hair and virtual reality gear dynamically leaps forward
Kai’Sa embraces the gaming aesthetic with her Arcade skin / Image credit: Riot Games and League of Legends
  • Skin cost: 1,350 RP
  • Release date: June 28, 2019
  • Chromas: Amethyst, Aquamarine, Catseye, Emerald, K.O., Obsidian, Rose Quartz, and Ruby
  • Part of the Arcade: Heroes skin collection.

Arcade is one of the more fun Kai’Sa skins, following the retro gaming theme of the other Arcade skins in League of Legends. Kai’Sa’s abilities and recall animations have 8-bit styles that are vibrant and eye-catching. The chiptune and 8-bit sound effects that go along with the skin are just as entertaining and complement the rest of Kai’Sa’s outfit perfectly. Arcade might not be as well-suited to Kai’Sa as some of the other skins on the list, but it is still one of her best.

7. Heavenscale

Kai'Sa with glowing green gauntlets and swirling energy poses mid-air against a golden sky
The Chinese themes of this skin are elegant and incredibly well designed / Image credit: Riot Games and League of Legends
  • Skin cost: 1,350 RP
  • Release date: February 7, 2024
  • Chromas: Amethyst, Catseye, Emerald, Granite, Lustrous, Obsidian, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire
  • Part of the Heavenscale skin collection.

As a Lunar New Year-themed skin, Heavenscale is influenced by Chinese mythology. The most prominent incorporation of Eastern mythology is the dragon-like aesthetic that Kai’Sa has with this skin. She has vibrant turquoise dragon scales and a red, green, and gold Chinese-style colour palette. Her recall animation is particularly impressive, as it shows Kai’Sa jumping on traditional Chinese lanterns. Heavenscale is a pretty choice of a Kai’Sa skin that blends a graceful dragon design with elegant, fluid animations and effects.

6. Lagoon Dragon

  • Skin cost: 1,350 RP
  • Release date: October 21, 2021
  • Chromas: Citrine, Emberclaw, Emerald, Obsidian, Pearl, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire, and Tanzanite
  • Part of the Dragonmancers skin collection.

Lagoon Dragon takes the dragon elements from the Heavenscale skin and makes it the main aesthetic for Kai’Sa, transforming her into a water dragon-like hero. The armour that Kai’Sa wears has dragon scale patterns and a teal and gold colour scheme. Her animations and effects get water themes, but one of the best parts of the skin is the recall animation, which shows Kai’Sa joined by two dragon companions. Much like Heavenscale, Lagoon Dragon is a gorgeous skin that is a must for Kai’Sa players.

5. Prestige K/DA ALL OUT

  • Skin cost: 150 Mythic Essence (the regular K/DA ALL OUT skin costs 1,350 RP)
  • Release date: October 29, 2020
  • No Chromas (the regular skin has one Chroma called BADDEST.)
  • Part of the K/DA skin collection.

The K/DA skin line in League of Legends is particularly popular, and the Prestige skins are the standard-bearers when it comes to high-level animations and effects. The pop star alternate universe works perfectly with the chosen champions, including Kai’Sa. The Prestige ALL OUT skin is rarer and more expensive than the originals, but they do have updated, shimmering effects.

4. Prestige K/DA

Kai'Sa in shiny silver attire stands in a futuristic hallway, holding a large golden scythe

  • Skin cost: 150 Mythic Essence (the regular K/DA skin costs 1,350 RP).
  • Release date: November 3, 2018 (the 2022 version was released on April 1, 2022)
  • No Chromas for the regular or prestige versions of the skin
  • Players who owned the Prestige K/DA Kai’Sa skin before patch 12.5 were automatically given the 2022 upgraded skin.
  • Part of the K/DA skin collection.

While the ALL OUT K/DA skins are fantastic, you just can’t beat the originals, which is why the Prestige K/DA Kai’Sa skin is higher on our list. As with the ALL OUT skin, the Prestige Kai’Sa skin is a little more impressive than the original, and it includes more effects and animations as well as an outfit and colour palette change for Kai’Sa. The gold and white colours make everything feel more luxurious, while the additional effects make for a more eye-popping skin.

3. Immortalized Legend

Kai'Sa in sleek armor strikes a powerful pose amid glowing, fiery orbs and shadowy wolves
Immortalized Legend is incredibly rare, but also incredibly pricey / Image credit: Riot Games and League of Legends
  • Skin cost: 32,035 RP (Immortalized Legend Collection) or 58,865 RP (Signature Immortalized Legend Collection)
  • Release date: June 11, 2025
  • Two forms: Chosen and Risen
  • Part of the Risen Legends skin collection.

The Risen Legends collection is a very rare set of skins in LoL, as they were released to celebrate professional League of Legends players via the Hall of Legends event. Kai’Sa’s skin was created to celebrate pro player Uzi.

This skin is themed around the idea of heroes becoming immortalised for being the best, much like the pro players of LoL. It also has several unique features that most skins don’t have, such as a custom HUD, transformations that are unlocked as the game continues, and holographic splash art.

Because of the unique and rare nature of the skin, it is incredibly expensive. It could only be purchased as part of either a regular bundle or a “Signature” bundle during the Hall of Legends event. The regular bundle costs around $250, while the “Signature” bundle is close to $500.

For those willing to spend a bit of money on an impressive Hall of Legends skin (if the chance arises again), you might want to opt for the Risen Legend Kai’Sa skin instead. It isn’t as premium as Immortalized Legend Kai’Sa, as it doesn’t have the unique effects and other features. However, it is much more affordable, costing 5,000 RP (around $50).

2. Star Guardian

Kai'Sa with pink hair and winged armor soars through a starry, magical sky. Accompanied by a small, cute creature
The popular Star Guardian skin collection knocks it out of the park with the Kai’Sa skin / Image credit: Riot Games and League of Legends
  • Skin cost: 1,820 RP
  • Release date: July 14, 2022
  • Chromas: Aquamarine, Brilliant, Catseye, Emerald, Ruby, and Tanzanite
  • Part of the Star Guardian season 4 skin collection.

Kai’Sa has a tragic background, as her entire village was devoured by the Void. She spent a decade traversing the Void before she was able to escape, so she became a gritty survivor. The perky Star Guardian magical girl skin collection shouldn’t suit her, but not only does the aesthetic absolutely fit Kai’Sa, it is arguably one of her best skins yet.

Along with a new character model, Kai’Sa gets a magical girl transformation, as is the case with all the Star Guardian champions. Her animations and effects turn into glittering, cosmic sparkles, and she has a pink and white colour scheme.

1.iG

Kai'Sa with glowing blue accents poses dynamically in a misty, ancient landscape
iG is a tribute to a real world Kai’Sa pro player, but it is also a fan favourite / Image credit: Riot Games and League of Legends
  • Skin cost: 1,350 RP
  • Release date: April 23, 2019
  • Chromas: Tenfold Triumph
  • Part of the World Champions 2018 skin collection.

iG is another Kai’Sa skin that is directly linked to actual pro League of Legends players, as it was released as one of the World Championships 2018 skins. Because of this, it is beloved by the LoL community around the world. However, as well as being sentimental, the skin is excellent in its own right.

iG Kai’Sa (short for Invictus Gaming) is a skin designed to commemorate professional Kai’Sa player JackeyLove from the team ADC. It has a pure black and white palette that features silver and gold accents, creating a more muted, unique look in comparison to some of the more over-the-top skins. Her recall animation includes a reference to JackeyLove (his signature appears on the screen) and shows Kai’Sa lifting the World Championship trophy.

There are no gimmicks or exaggerated features with iG Kai’Sa. It is simply a crisp and clean skin that celebrates the achievements of some of the best players in the world. All these features come together to create a skin that is the best for Kai’Sa.
