Riot Games has launched a new Competitive Operations website — a hub for competitive integrity information across its esports titles League of Legends, VALORANT and Teamfight Tactics.

The platform will serve as a comprehensive resource for professional players, teams, tournament organisers and fans, housing official rulings, core regulations, penalty trackers and dispute resolution procedures across the competitive ecosystems.

According to the announcement, the website features dedicated sections for each title’s global competitive structure, alongside a library of documents and forms. A dedicated programs section reveals Riot’s anti-match-fixing framework and dispute resolution mechanisms, particularly for the League of Legends and VALORANT professional scenes.

“Through our Competitive Operations programs, we aim to build an esports ecosystem grounded in the highest principles of integrity and fairness,” Riot stated on the new platform. The company emphasised its commitment to fostering trust in its competitive communities.

Enhanced Transparency Measures

Riot’s new website introduces several key features designed to improve transparency across Riot’s esports operations. A dedicated rulings repository documents all decisions related to potential breaches of esports regulations, while the penalty tracker allows one to monitor enforcement actions across all three titles.

The platform also provides access to Riot’s competitive esports data initiative, which the company describes as part of its investment in long-term growth and sustainability.

“Accessible, reliable, and accurate data will lead to products and experiences that will empower fans all over the world,” the website states.

Each game receives its own dedicated section detailing the specific competitive ecosystem structure, allowing players and organisations to navigate regulations relevant to their particular title. Forms and procedural updates will be maintained in a centralised library, organising administrative processes for teams and tournament organisers.

The anti-match-fixing framework represents one of the platform’s core programs, outlining Riot’s approach to fighting match manipulation and preserving competitive fairness. These measures arrive as competitive integrity concerns continue to challenge esports globally, with multiple titles facing match-fixing scandals throughout 2025.

In the past week, FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) issued an indefinite suspension to its League of Legends player Cai ‘Milkyway‘ Zi-Jun, after the latter allegedly shared confidential draft information during a match.
