BLAST Slam IV Will Bring New Dota 2 Rosters to Singapore in First Post-TI25 LAN

BLAST Slam IV will treat Dota 2 fans to a first glimpse of new-look post-TI rosters at the Singapore Indoor Stadium from November 7 to 9.

The tournament organizer is taking its Slam series to a place it’s never been before. Instead of the usual studio setting in Copenhagen, where events are played without a crowd, BLAST Slam IV will bring top-tier Dota 2 competition inside a 12,000-seater venue.

Though LAN action isn’t anything new in the Dota 2 scene, the fourth iteration of Blast Slam matters a little more.

It will serve as the first major post-The International 2025 spectacle where newly shuffled rosters will show fan

s what they’re all about on a global stage.

The First LAN After TI Means New Rosters on Display

BLAST Slam IV will be the first significant LAN event to take place after TI25, running from October 28 to November 9, starting with an online stage, followed by the LAN finals in the venue that hosted The International 2022.

The timing makes it the first major tournament of the new competitive season, during which many teams would have already made roster changes following the iconic post-TI shuffle.

It’s the perfect storm for chaos, where squads will be testing fresh strategies, rosters will be unproven, and the winner will be completely unpredictable.

For Dota 2 fans around the world, it’s the best time to catch surprises, early upsets, and perhaps new faces looking to put themselves on the map.

First Round of Teams Announced, With More to Come

The initial list of participants includes a mix of direct invites and regional representatives. The current lineup includes the following squads:

  • Team Liquid
  • PARIVISION
  • Team Falcons
  • Team Spirit
  • Tundra Esports
  • Heroic (Americas qualifier)
  • Talon Esports (Host representative)

Five of these teams were directly invited by BLAST. Heroic earned their spot through the Americas qualifiers, while Talon Esports were selected to represent the host region. The latter failed to qualify for The International 2025, so BLAST Slam IV will be the first tournament we’ll see them back in action.

One more direct invite is yet to be revealed, and four additional teams will round out the list through European, Chinese, and Southeast Asian qualifiers that will run between September 29 and October 5.

Why BLAST Slam IV Will Matter More

BLAST Slam IV isn’t going to be another random tournament on the Dota 2 calendar. This event will be:

  • The first time BLAST Slam has gone from a closed studio to a large arena.
  • The first major LAN after The International, meaning rosters could look completely different.
  • The return of big-stage Dota 2 to Singapore, for the first time since The International 2022, gives Southeast Asian fans a rare opportunity to watch new lineups in action.

All in all, BLAST Slam IV promises action and surprises aplenty for fans as the 2026 season gets underway.
