Fnatic’s journey in the 2025 VCT season started off with an underwhelming performance at the Kickoff event, finishing 5th/6th in the compeition. However, despite its rough start, the players not only improved but dominated throughout the season, making the team one of the top contenders for VCT Stage 2’s trophy as well.

As a result of its VALORANT Champions qualification, the team’s IGL, Jake ‘Boaster’ Howlett, has never missed Champions in his entire career, though he is yet to lift a trophy.

Apeks, on the other hand, has already been relegated back to Challengers after failing to win even a single series in the 2025 VCT season.

Fnatic is now placed in the upper bracket of Stage 2 playoffs round one, with its opponent to be decided through a draw once the group stage concludes on August 16th.

List of EMEA Teams Going to Champions Paris

Whilst Fnatic has secured its spot at the final international VCT event of the year, three more teams to represent the region in Paris have yet to be decided.

This includes the top two teams from EMEA Stage 2 and one from the Championship Points leaderboard.

The battle between Team Liquid and Team Heretics is neck and neck with 13 and 12 Championship Points, respectively.

When it comes to the Stage 2 itself, the final two teams will be decided on August 29th and 30th, while the winner will be crowned on August 31st.

Fans will be able to catch all the ongoing action live on VCT EMEA’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
