BLAST has partnered with gaming peripheral brand ZOWIE ahead of the season-ending 2025 Fortnite Global Championship.
As a result of the deal, ZOWIE will become the official monitor partner of the event taking place in early September.
The deal will see ZOWIE‘s XL2566X+ gaming monitor used on-stage throughout the event. In addition the company will host a booth to offer attendees ‘on-site service and hands-on technical support’ for its range of esports-focused products.
ZOWIE is the first partner announced for the Fortnite Global Championship, the final event of the 2025 Fortnite Champions Series (FNCS) calendar. Taking place at the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France, 33 teams from around the world will compete for a share of a $2m (~£1.47m) prize pool.
“We have worked with ZOWIE for a long time, and this year, we’re delighted to welcome ZOWIE as an official partner for the Fortnite Global Championship,” said Russell Schneider, VP, Head of Branding and Partnerships at BLAST.
“Equipping the tournament with ZOWIE’s monitors ensures a competitive and reliable environment for all players during what promises to be an unmissable weekend in Lyon.”
Launched in August 2024, the XL2566X+ is designed for FPS players and titles.
BLAST and ZOWIE are no strangers to collaborating. In 2023, the two parties joined forces for the BLAST.tv Paris Major, the final Major of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) era. The monitor was used throughout each stage of the tournament.
