UK esports organisation Absolved has announced its return to esports, with its first venture being in the 4 Nations 2025 Summer Promotion.

The organisation has been reformed under the new ownership of Jimmy ‘SinCyn’ Knox and Brandon Pickard.

Absolved returns with the goal of being a community-driven esports organisation.

Absolved returns to esports after four years

The organisation was first founded in 2019 by TJ ‘Nudo’ Harwood and manager Robin ‘Robinho’ Cheng.

They competed in both the NLC and the Telia Esports Series before being acquired by X7 Esports in late 2021.

Nudo and Robinho became part of the organisation until they ceased operations in late 2022.

Absolved now returns to the League of Legends (LoL) esports scene after acquiring DMG Esports UK’s team slot at the upcoming 4 Nations 2025 Summer Promotion.

They’ll also take over the former roster of DMG Esports UK, which includes:

  • Ioan ‘Magical Goblin’ Comanescu
  • Lawrence ‘Teatime’ Bailey
  • Emil ‘Emil’ Poulsen
  • Simon ‘Muter’ Brons
  • Ciaran ‘Gible’ Sidnell

However, they are set to make changes ahead of the upcoming Summer Promotion.

Absolved is also aiming to field rosters in other esports titles such as Call of Duty, Counter-Strike, and Rocket League.

Community-focused UK esports organisation

Absolved also looks to grow its brand outside of the competitive scene, with a specific focus on community events.

The organisation will host community nights on their Discord server in order to build their brand and community.

Bringing on experienced community event organisers for this very purpose.

Absolved has said that they hope to foster a culture of support, respect, and mentorship.

Therefore, creating opportunities for players to grow and for fans to feel connected.

With the downfall of The Goose House, there have been few online UK esports events.

Absolved is looking to fill this gap to help grow the UK esports community.

Supporting UK content creation

Absolved is also investing in content creation to supplement its esports program and community events.

Bringing to the forefront up-and-coming UK content creators, the organisation hopes to cultivate their channel growth.

Joining the organisation from the start will be content creator, Max ‘mind_ of_max’ Anderson.

I’m really excited to be taking over Absolved, the org where I started my career in esports. Our aim at Absolved is to bring esports to the community through events, tournaments, and content.
Competitively, we are aiming to gradually work our way to the top. Starting in League of Legends and expanding into Rocket League, COD, Counter-Strike and many more.
We have created a great backing team here at Absolved and are very excited for the future. Lastly, I wish to extend our gratitude to DMG Esports for providing us with our first foothold back into esports.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with many incredible individuals who continue to humble me to this day. Because of them, I’ve had the energy to turn a hobby into a career. I work to honour those who have given me a chance and thrive thanks to the community.
