Supervive is leaving Early Access as Theorycraft Games has announced its full, global launch will take place on July 24th.

The game, originally called Project Loki, first became playable on Steam back in November 2024.

The game is a MOBA and a squad-based battle royale, which has racked up over 17,000 Steam reviews and a 90% positivity rating.

Now, the MOBA title is leaving beta testing with the release of the Supervive 1.0 update.

And along with it, will likely come the new playable character Wukong, who was teased in the trailer.

According to Theorycraft Games, the upcoming update will completely change the game.

The 1.0 patch will overhaul the game’s progression system, the game structure, the map, the client and apparently even more.

More information about this update will then be shared and previewed by the developers on July 17th.

To prepare for the huge update, the game servers will go down for a week for maintenance.

The maintenance will start on the same day as the patch preview, July 17th at 9pm PT (5am BST).

All players who have the Battlepass will be compensated with 200,000 EXP to make up for the server downtime.

Additionally, all players who have taken part in Open Beta testing will also receive free, unique rewards.

Anyone who plays at least one game of Supervive before the 1.0 launch will receive a ‘Cartoon Carrot Wisp’ (Rooty) and champion callsign.

And players with over 40 hours before the 1.0 update will receive ‘The OG’ glider based on the first model the devs created and a ‘Theorycrafter’ title.

While the update comes out on July 24th, a short stability test will give players a chance to play early at 11pm BST on July 23rd.

What is Supervive?

Supervive is a top-down MOBA game and battle royale with shooter-focused mechanics and a large cast of characters.

It is the first game by independent developers Theorycraft Games, who have a lot of former Riot Games employees.

That includes CEO Joe Tung, who was the League of Legends EVP.

The game uses WASD controls for movement and the mouse for aiming.

In fact, the game’s settings are very reminiscent of the WASD options coming to the leaked League of Legends’ WASD controls.

Supervive currently has 22 unique characters, known as hunters, under the classes of Controller, Fighter, Frontliner, Initiator, and Protector.

Wukong will be the 23rd hunter, but his abilities and class have not yet been revealed.

The game hosted an esports event for streamers called the Creator Cup, which attracted a peak viewership of over 84k.

While Supervive hasn’t had esports plans confirmed, there are plenty of other tournaments to bet on with esports betting sites.
