While G2 Esports has already clinched its VALORANT Champions Paris 2025 slot, the remaining teams will battle at VCT Americas Stage 2 for the final three spots.
Moreover, the new map Corrode will make its VCT debut at the event, along with Patch 11.00 and Riot has unveiled complete information about the tournament.
VCT Americas Stage 2 Format and Groups
The event will follow a structure similar to Stage 1, where the 12 participating teams are divided into two groups—Alpha and Omega. Teams will kick off their journey in the Group Stage, following a single round-robin format, with the top four squads from each group advancing to the double-elimination Playoffs.

The first seed from each group will receive a direct bye to Round 2 of the Playoffs, while the fourth-seeded teams will start in the lower bracket.
At the end of the event, the winner and runner up will qualify for VALORANT Champions Paris, alongside the two teams with most Championship Points in the region.
Daily Schedule and Playoffs Brackets
The Group Stage at VCT Americas Stage 2 will run from July 18th to August 17th and here is the daily match schedule for it:
Riot is yet to reveal the starting date for the Playoffs; however, the Grand Final will take place on August 31.
New Patch and Map Pool at Americas Stage 2
VALORANT patch 11.00 will make its way to VCT at the beginning of the event, which means Bind and Corrode will be added to the map pool, while Pearl and Split will be rotated out. Here’s the complete map pool for Americas Stage 2:

Additionally, balance changes from Patch 11.00 involving Waylay buffs, along with nerfs to Reyna, Neon, and Phoenix, will also be implemented. However, don’t expect a major shift in meta like we saw during Masters Toronto, when Tejo was nerfed.
Where to Watch VCT Americas Stage 2
The tournament will be returning to Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles and the ticket sales will go live on July 2nd at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 4 PM BRT / 7 PM GMT. However, keep in mind that the matches on July 16th and 17th, as well as August 16th and 17th, will be played without a crowd.
